The 1861 $3 Indian Princess is quite the rare coin. Just 5,900 of these were produced this first year of the American Civil War. 
Collectors are know to chase Civil War coins and this coin being one of the more desirable and affordable coins they can obtain. 
This coin I only grade Choice Extremely Fine and it appears to have an old lite cleaning.
